Bob Dylan - Talking Too Much

Live at Carnegie Hall, New York, October 26, 1963, except * NYC Town Hall, April 12, 1963. Acetate of the unreleased CBS LP "In Concert."

An absolute must-have, perhaps the best title of the early boot CDs. Recorded from acetate, the 'pops and noises' are always present, but are not intrusive to those of us who grew up with vinyl. It is still a great collectible because of its early release date. CBS was planning this release for the 1963-64 Christmas season, and it went as far as being pressed to acetate. The thorn seems to have been the rambling 6½ minute prose "Last Thoughts On Woody Guthrie". Execs thought it too noncommercial and a waste of vinyl.
