Welcome to something new for me, I have had so many request for a page people could go to and order my "DreamCatchers" that I am going to try this.



below are photo's of some of the dream catchers I have made, Since each are different, please note that no two are alike


The Dream Catcher

There was a young brave who's beautiful wife was sad.
She had lost their first child and cried both day and night.
The brave went to sit under a tree and looked up toward heaven.
Just as a tear slipped from his eye, a spider in the tree which
was making a web looked down and asked the brave, "why do you cry?".
The brave looked up and said, "my wife grieves for our child both
day and night." She misses the child she never got to hold.
The spider looked down at its web and said, "Brave, take this web
and gently place it in a wooden hoop. Dress the wooden hoop
with white eagle feathers and place it above your wifes head
tonight as she sleeps." The brave did as he was told.
He gently placed the web in the wooden hoop and attached white eagle feathers
to it with pure white deer hide. That night the brave placed the
dream catcher above his wifes head while she was sleeping.
Again the following night his beautiful wife had tears in her eyes.
The brave took the tear drops and placed them gently on the web.
Then he noticed a smile on her lips as she slept. The next morning
the brave noticed the tears which had been placed in the web were gone.
He then went and sat under the tree with tears in his own eyes.
He looked up and saw the spider looking down from a new web but this web was different.
The spider looked down and said "Brave, why do you cry?". Looking up the Brave
told the spider his wife cried again last night and It breaks my heart."
The spider looked down and said, "Didn't she also smile?". Yes said the brave,
but when she cried it broke my heart. I took the tears and placed them on the
web as you asked and this morning the tear drops were gone. The spider said,
"Look at my web. Are those not tears?" Looking up in amazement the brave said,
"yes, but I dont understand." Then the spider said, "Brave, The web caught the
bad dreams which were your wifes tears. Did she not smile after you removed the
tears from her cheeks when you placed them in the web?" Yes she did said
the young brave, but I don't understand. The spider then asked the brave if there
had been a white feather caught in the web this morning.
The brave said yes, but how did you know as I hadn't mention it? The spider spoke again,
"The white feather was the good dream which was the smile on your wife's lips. The tear
drops were the bad dreams that are now in my web. No more will the one you love have bad dreams.
