H11 Restoration
NEXT
The restoration of the Wyoming State Capitol stained glass began with panel H11. It was damaged when a worker stepped thru it while installing the metal protective deck. We were called upon to do a "repair" . The damage was severe enough that the entire panel needed to be restored. The pictures that follow are a few of those we took to document the process. The condition of panel H11 reinforced our concerns for the 6 panels we had determined as critical when we had cleaned the glass the year before. So, the entire restoration project was "launched" because of Panel H11. We started panel H11 on April 7,2000
