Sapphire Wild Mountain Thyme

This song inspired the name "Wild Mountain Thyme" for my pup before I even saw her.

This is an elegant variant of a Scottish song by Robert Tannahill (1774-1819), "The Braes of Balquidder." A Scottish theme seems appropriate for a Shetland Sheepdog. Her callname will be "Thyme" (pronounced "time") and fullname will be "Sapphire Wild Mountain Thyme".

Thyme has two other siblings in Colorado. Her sister, Sage, lives in Silt, Colorado with Scott Wilhelm. Her brother, Roka, lives in Denver with Lynne Harris. All will be agility dogs and will probably compete against each other!
