Sniffy

Susan and Sniffy

July 4, 1985 - June 27, 1999

Sniffy was my very first heart dog. She was so very intelligent, I wish I had heard about agility when I had her. She'd of been an awesome dog in the ring.

Sniffy was Jerry's introduction to 'my world of dogs'. She wormed her way into his heart and taught him how much dogs can love us.

She went everywhere with us, and loved to go to the Mountain Men Rendevous. At our cabin, she would catch mice and birds and bring them to me, spit them into my hands and they would shake themselves off and scurry away. She hated water, but when I would swim out to a rock in the BlackFoot River at our cabin, she would come out to me and together we'd sit on that rock. Course, I'd have to carry her back to shore. She was a character.

Young Sniffy

Sniffy was part Irish Setter and Brittany Spaniel, and she most certainly was a 'setter'. She left us a week shy of her 14th birthday. She is probably watching Molly and Lillan play from her 'throne.'
