Camp Hope's Homepage

Camp Hope, Wyoming's summer camp for children with diabetes, provides a week long
residential camp session the last full week of June each year, produced on our leased site,
Camp Wyoba located atop Casper Mountain, just 15 minutes south of the city of Casper.
The camp is designed to provide opportunities for children with diabetes to become more
knowledgeable in the care of their diabetes while enjoying a wholesome atmosphere of fun
and peer association in a beautiful mountain setting.

The camp is staffed by experienced counselors, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and
dietitians. Proper individual diabetic management is maintained through a regular program of
blood glucose testing, and a professional review of medical records on a daily basis.

Camp Hope was established in 1979. The Directors have more than 25 years experience
with Camp Hope and the majority of the counseling and medical staff have 10 or more years
of history with Camp Hope.
