What is Parents for Enrichment Programs (P.E.P.)
P.E.P. is a parent-sponsored support group for the parents of students (K-12) who are involved in enrichment and extended education programs.

Purpose of P.E.P
To provide an organization for parents of high ability students for advocating appropriate education. To enhance the education and socialization of gifted children.

Goals of P.E.P.
Support:
To provide a framework of support for the gifted child's needs.
To provide an opportunity for parents of gifted children to mutually support each other in the adventure of parenting a gifted child.

Advocacy:
To help parents successfully advocate for the needs of their gifted child.
To advocate for appropriate curriculum for high ability students.

Education:
To educate parents regarding such diverse topics as enrichment curriculum in the school, educational and social needs of gifted children,and legislative developments regarding gifted education.

Communication:
To inform parents about issues pertinent to gifted education and enrichment opportunities.
